Over the years, GTS has produced several instructional video blogs on deep hole drilling techniques and drills.  Deep hold drilling accurately and consistently with no issues continues to be one of the biggest challenges faced by part manufacturers.  A common issue encountered while deep hole drilling is chipping on your drills.  Making sure your mitigating inefficient chip evacuation and chip restrictions is key to a successful job.  This week, Tom Greene explains some troubleshooting tactics you can use if you find that your deep hole drills are chipping.
